Editorial policy

Useful, testable, and clear about limitations.

This policy explains how product pages, educational guides, and free browser tools are prepared and maintained.

What we publish

The website publishes product documentation, mobile workflow guides, explanations of AI detection, and browser-based writing and reference tools. Content should answer a defined user question or complete a defined task.

How pages are prepared

Pages may be drafted and maintained with software-assisted workflows. Product claims are checked against the current website or app workflow, interactive tools are tested with representative inputs and edge cases, and technical limitations are included when they affect how a result should be interpreted.

Sources and calculations

When a tool uses a named formula, public metadata service, or third-party processing library, the page identifies it where useful. Estimates such as reading time, speaking time, page length, and readability are labeled as estimates. We avoid presenting a convenient rule of thumb as a universal standard.

AI detection claims

AI-generated text detection is probabilistic. We do not describe a score as proof that a person did or did not write something. Educational and disciplinary decisions should not rely on one detector result. Our detection methodology page explains the interpretation we expect readers to use.

Updates and corrections

Pages can be updated when the app changes, a source becomes outdated, search intent shows that an explanation is unclear, or testing exposes a problem. Material corrections should change the reviewed date. Low-value or duplicative pages may be merged, redirected, or removed rather than left online indefinitely.

Commercial relationship

This website is designed to introduce the AI Detector mobile app. Download links and calls to action are commercial product links. That relationship does not change the expected behavior of a free tool or justify overstating detection accuracy.
