Text comparison helps with edited drafts, contract clauses, rewritten paragraphs, content approvals, and copied source material. The result keeps surrounding unchanged text visible so each addition or removal has context.

The comparison uses word and punctuation tokens rather than a simple character check. Whitespace is preserved where possible. Very large documents or moved paragraphs can still benefit from a dedicated version-control workflow.
