Why this is different
Submission rules are more than a word count.
A draft can be inside its limit and still miss a required section, use the wrong citation style, omit evidence, or ignore a line in the rubric. This workspace keeps the brief beside the draft so those checks happen before the final upload.
The readiness signal is deliberately limited to observable structure. It does not pretend that a percentage can grade an argument, identify an author, or replace your instructor's requirements.
