About this audit
Find the same source hiding behind different formatting
Duplicate references are not always identical strings. One version may abbreviate an author, include a DOI URL, omit a subtitle, or use different punctuation. This tool combines exact DOI matching with normalized token similarity to identify likely duplicate pairs.
Near-duplicate detection is deliberately conservative. Review suggested pairs before removing an entry because related papers, editions, corrections, and conference versions can share many words without being the same source.
